Beautiful antique carved wooden Buddhist votive panel with inlaid terracotta reliefs of Buddha from Southeast Asia, Thailand, Rattanakosin Kingdom, circa. 19th to early 20th century. The tall wood tablet is adorned with relief decoration of scrolling, geometric, and lotus flower motifs surrounding 31 recesses in which the pottery reliefs are placed. Each plaque displays an image of seated Buddha. Modified with hanging brackets on the back. In excellent antique condition.
